Aritmija origins go back to the year 2002, when the guitarists Tilen and Dino became fascinated with the unusual rhythms and the seducing melodics of Balkan music. Following their interests, they started playing with traditional music from the Balkan area and interpreting it in their own way. Soon they called for backup and were joined by three exquisite musicians. Using traditional (tarabuka and tapan), classical (violin and classical guitar) and modern instruments (electric guitar and bass) the present line up has created a unique sound which is well reflected in their repertoire of Macedonian, Bosnian, Bulgarian and Gipsy traditional music.
