ZORAN PREDIN is an acknowledged Slovene musician, poet and songwriter, well known for his excellent scores for numerous Slovene films, TV series and theatre pieces, as well as popular songs and unforgettable chansons.
Twenty years ago he founded a rock group Lacni Franz (Hungry Franz), the name should indicate the group's cynical and sarcastic approach. Throughout eleven years of performing all over the former Yugoslavia the group gained many fans and still enjoys great reputation. Together they recorded nine LPs and five CDs. Most of the songs was composed by Zoran.
In the nineties Zoran Predin began to perform chansons. He also presented his own playful vision of pop music on two solo albums. After the pop adventure was over, he started writing ethnic ballads. He recorded a very successful album with the group Shukar, which plays traditional gypsy music.
During his illustrious career, Zoran Predin has written scores for six theatre pieces, five films and four TV series. He also published three books of poems and lyrics.
Within the group Mar Django Quartet he gathered some of the best Slovenian musicians to record "All- purpose Lover", the album that had won two prestigious Slovene music awards: for best ethno album and best performer of ethno music in 1999. His nationwide success was followed by an European tour. Concerts in Paris, London, Edinburgh, Vienna, Montpelier led to further invitations to Nottingham (UK), Pittsburgh (USA) and Melbourne and Sidney (Australia).

MAGNIFICO is one of the biggest pop stars Slovenia has to offer. He is a singer, songwriter, guitar player, producer, real hit maker, from time to time even an actor, but above all a great performer, who again and again manages to shock the public. His songs are full of messages trying to break barriers, stereotypes and conservatism. By doing this he splits the nation in two camps, one adores him, the other disapproves. He again, does not care, but instead continues doing what he loves and knows best, i.e. make great music and entertain his fans.
