Indigo Child was formed in spring 2002 in Maribor, Slovenia, with no warning, no expectations and no needs whatsoever. The idea for creating the Indigo interference occurred due to an ambition to take a shot and try.
The band has evolved into a succesful entity comprising of Mario's lyrics and vocals, teamed with Eva's fusion soprano, Tine's smooth guitar, whilst Bine provides the bass. The orchestral influence infiltrates from Saso's synthesizer, and the line-up is completed by the fluid drumming of Milko.
Indigo Child made their debut on 14 February 2003, on the Slovenian Sudden Strike Tour 2003. They shocked the crowd at Maribor's Pekarna Gustav club with their vital and eclectic style.
A short time later the band felt compelled to record their creations, resulting in a demo CD featuring four tracks: Involve Synthetic, Death, The Roots of Eden, and Divine Communication. Produced by Danilo Zenko, these early recordings featured Anja Vutej and Primoz Zajsek.
Since then the Indigo Child vision has grown, and their definitive structure has encouraged them to work even harder and make their debut album, Redeath.
Also essential to shaping the Indigo Child vibe are Andrej Radi and Mitja Krope.
Their talents have produced the band's first video and this site, enabling even greater access to the band.
