Jadranka was borne in Sarajevo and grew up in Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful town worldwide. Starting her music career begun at the age of 18, she wrote and sang the official song of the 1981 Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo.
Being extremely interest in the Japanese culture (especially Ukiyoe and Haiku) she decided to go to Japan, in order to complete her recording. While she was there, the civil war broke out in Bosnia, which made her return almost impossible. As time passed by, she decided to stay in Japan, where she lives and works even today.
