This very dynamic musical group was originally formed in 2003 as a one-time project aimed at setting to music the poetry of Janez Menart. After a night of convincing performing that left the audience astounded the performers decided to continue their musical path.
The group's work is a result of diverse musical influences. Their music incorporates the powerful elements of ethno, jazz, blues, rock, and classical music. And it is precisely this enchanting interplay of diverse musical genres coupled with fresh ideas, ingenious (and often witty) lyrics and engaging on-stage performance that makes Same babe so special.

The group has already given a number of successful concerts (including concerts in Trnje, Tolmin, Zelezniki, Maribor, Murska Sobota, Postojna, Ljubljana, Sezana, Idrija, Kranj). Andraz Moravec has been playing the guitar for the past 9 years and is self-thought. Pegam Podobnik has graduated from music school and for the past 11 years his passion has been playing the drums.
As their musical influences the group list such names as Primus, Sausage, Ozric Tentacles, Disciplina Kitchme, Iron Maiden, Dream Theatre, Tool, FerusMustafov, Pantera, Kimmo Pohjonen, Billy Cobham.
